NORTH AMERICA
United States is a massive area – one of the big drawcards to overseas visitors is being in the area during the spring or autumn migration, when the wood warblers and others move en masse up north, with fallouts on the Florida coast and further north, and a subsequent feeding frenzy replenishing body mass lost during their long flights. Apart from that, summer birding is very rewarding, logistics relatively easy, all good fun.
Our itineraries are designed around seeing a high number of country or area specials, but again can be customised to your or your group’s requirements.
Currently we have itineraries designed around seeing a good variety of migrants in North Carolina, exploring the productive Rio Grande Valley in Texas and various pelagic based activities. Please do drop us an email to enquire about these exciting trips.
We’re continually updating our programmes and should a country not be listed, or not be hyperlinked, please email info@bustardsbirding.co.za to request a custom itinerary.
