Europe is well developed with a good network of roads, making travel quicker and easier than other parts of the world. The bird diversity is lower, however the species that can be found are equally as special as the other continents. Families that attract interest amongst birders are Ducks and Geese, Grouse, Bustards, Cranes, Plovers & other shorebirds, a large variety of Gulls, Raptors, various Warbler families, Goldcrests, Nuthatches, Wallcreeper, Chats and Flycatchers & Accentors.
