Asia too is a diverse and massive continent, combined with multiple islands which host their own endemic species. Unfortunately a large percentage of the habitat has been replaced by people and crops, with Asia having the largest percentage of the population in the world. Saying this, pockets of pristine habitat still exist, with some wonderful species to be found. Some of the sought after families include an array of Pheasants, Broadbills, Cuckooshrikes (including the brightly coloured Minivets), Tits, masses of Bulbuls, Cupwings, many cryptic Leaf Warblers, Parrotbills, Babblers, Laughingthrushes by the ton, a good representation of the Nuthatch family, Leafbirds, Flowerpeckers and finally a good dash of Buntings.
