Day 5 12 Kunene River Lodge Drive north to Kunene River, birding en route Bare-cheeked Babbler, Red-necked Falcon, Chestnut Weaver, Rosy-faced Lovebird, Bradfield’s Swift, Monteiro’s Hornbill  
Day 6 13 Kunene River Lodge Angola Cave Chat site Angola Cave Chat, Augur Buzzard, Cinderella Waxbill, White-throated Canary  
Day 7 14 Kunene River Lodge Birding around the camp and surrounds, with an afternoon sundowner trip on the river Rufous-tailed Palm Thrush, Grey Kestrel, Bennett’s Woodpecker, Bare-cheeked Babbler, African Golden Oriole  
Day 8 15 Sachsenheim Drive to the outskirts of Etosha, birding some pans and grassland en route Burchell’s Courser, Slaty Egret, Pink-billed Lark, Burchell’s Sandgrouse  
Day 9 16 Drive to Windhoek airport Some early morning birding and then on to Windhoek Black-faced Babbler, Monteiro’s Hornbill, various roadside birds
