SOUTH AMERICA
South America is home to the top 5 countries in terms of species diversity. Colombia, Peru and Brazil boast over 1900 species! Think skulking tinamous, sparkling hummingbirds, beaky toucans, gaudy macaws, cryptic ovenbirds, dancing manakins and many more!
The countries habitats are diverse too, hence we design our itineraries around visiting a smaller geographic area and spending more time on the ground than racing over large distances trying to maximise a list – but we get a very good return on the site specific species. We typically have adjacent tours or a pre/post tour with the main tour for those that would like to spend more time in the country – many people have after all travelled long distances to get to the Neotropics.
Our itineraries are designed around seeing a high number of country or area specials, but again can be customised to your or your group’s requirements.
